Job Description
Under the direction of the Ex. Vice President/CIO, and in cooperation with other divisions/directors, this position is responsible for assisting in the operation of all corporate information systems, to include development, training and implementation activities.
This position will also assist in recommendations of software purchases, and short and long range EDP planning. All programming projects shall require comprehensive documentation in an approved format.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or related field with advanced programming training
• Minimum 2+ years experience in IT operations and programming, PHP, Visual FoxPro or C#
• Expertise in multi-user IBM PCs and compatibles, with specialized data base experience - SQL and use of stored procedures and creating database tablets
• Staff training experience
• Experience in systems design, development, and implementation
• Knowledge of hardware/software products and related system requirements
• Healthcare application experience preferred

Experience & Knowledge
Specific Duties:
1. Programming: Design, develop, write and test modifications to the legacy systems. Assist with design, development, writing and testing of new systems, and be responsible for maintenance thereof, as directed. Train users accordingly. Link all existing and new computerized systems. Provide comprehensive documentation.
2. Develop conversion plans and systems to integrate legacy systems with new systems. Test integrations. Provide comprehensive documentation.
3. Design, develop and implement complementary report generation systems as identified which will access all data repositories. Good experience with SQL Server.
o Comfortable with creating stored procedures and database tables
4. In cooperation with Ex. Vice President/CIO, and other designated personnel, maintain and enhance, and assist in resolving issues related to, Internet and Intranet web sites.
5. Serve as liaison with external users/systems/vendors as necessary and appropriate.
6. Comply with corporate policies/procedures. Adhere to divisional budgets. Perform feasibility studies/related projects as directed (i.e., electronic claims processing). Identify and resolve problems as directed.
7. Advise Ex. Vice President/CIO on activities in field. Assist in the design and development of Corporation’s IT systems. Keep abreast of developments in field and provide regular updates and reports. Serve as a resource to other divisions.
8. Perform other related duties as directed or deemed appropriate. Serve as backup in the absence of other divisional personnel. Attend meetings as requested.
