Job Description
    Established and thriving company headquartered in Montgomery, AL is looking for a Controller/2nd in Command to CFO to join their growing team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records over automotive, retail and marine companies. This position is one of the top-level financial positions in the dealerships and requires the ability to direct accounting work of some complexity. 
Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Proficiency in Talon Software highly preferred GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills Highly Organized and able to prioritize Automotive industry experience highly preferred, but not a must have Has a positive attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset
Experience & Knowledge
    You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.  Supervise the accounting use of multiple dealership management software, similar to Peachtree Accounting. Supervise the work of accounting clerks Responsible for the preparation of financial and statistical reports Manage the preparation of budgets, journal entries, and general ledger. Provide projections and forecasts for the submission of monthly financial information to the CFO, owners, performance groups, and corporate representatives. 
Education
    BS in Accounting, preferred CPA
