Job Description
    The Director of Programming oversees and participates in all development. Primary, day-to-day development responsibilities focus on maintenance of the telephony-integrated CRM and database administration. Secondary roles include integration related development with client systems, report development, and dialer maintenance.
Qualifications
    SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Technical Skills Delphi Development Environment (similar to object-based pascal) C#/ .net MS SQL and Sybase Advantage databases Experience with API integrations (SOAP, JSON, REST, etc.) Leadership Skills Prepares, delegates and assigns work effectively Prioritizes well and uses time wisely Demonstrates effective communication skills with staff Demonstrates solid problem solving and decision-making skills Works with staff to establish concrete and attainable departmental goals Demonstrates the ability to maintain positive work environment (managing change, handling employee grievances, complaints, and conflicts) Maintains accurate operations policies/procedures and training materials for departments Ability to analyze data and/or facts Works effectively with other departments to accomplish day-to-day objectives
Experience & Knowledge
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assess department priorities on a daily basis Monitor IT staff attendance and time-off requests Assist with performance evaluations and corrections for IT staff Act as a liaison between team members and System Director Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes Test and develop programming modifications; Refine data and format final product Write new program code using prescribed specifications Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls Write and maintain programming documentation Analyze client/server and micro-computer based software solutions compatibility with company requirements Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference Assist personnel of other departments as a computer resource
Education
    BS in Computer Science or Management preferred
