Job Description
Fast-growing Tech company is looking for a Production Manager for their warehouse. This position is a full time, permanent role with a starting salary in the $65-80K range based on experience. The company also offers paid insurance, 401K plan and a great vacation/benefits package. In the Production Manager role you will be responsible for managing a warehouse staff of 15-20 employees.
Under the direct supervision of the COO, this role will supervise and lead the manufacturing staff; organize and monitor the workflow of day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality, on-time and on budget projects and products.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
? Collaborate and lead the organization as a member of our leadership team.
? Create and Implement performance improvement plans.
? Development of subordinate’s skills. Teach, Mold and Mentor.
? Maintain accountability for all company code of conduct standards, operational and safety procedures.
? Lead and assist all shop operators.
? Plan, establish and execute work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals and delivery deadlines. This includes written documentation that can be shared and communicated across the team.
? Coordinate with Leadership on staffing needs.
? Reading and interpreting technical specs, items needed for successful implementation, and anticipating the clients needs.
? Maintain shop inventory systems such as raw materials and shop supplies.
? Coordinate with Inventory Control, Shipping & Receiving and purchasing for to manage material and tools are available to keep projects on schedule.
? Forecast shop loads and future capacity.
? Participate in troubleshooting, evaluation/implementation of new techniques and processes.
? Ensure that the shop machines are in good and safe operating condition at all times through preventative maintenance; manage machine repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
? Ensure all product is constructed as contracted.

Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Manufacturing or similar/related program. In lieu of degree, Trade School and/or Vocational Training, Low Voltage Cabling, HVAC, Network Wiring, Camera Surveillance, etc. or equivalent work history.
Job Experience - To ensure success as a Production Manager, you should have advanced knowledge of warehouse logistics, a good eye for detail, and excellent team skills.
Experience with 3D printing, CNC Machining or Laser Engraving is a HUGE plus.
Related - Prior experience working on CNC Machine is a plus. AutoCad and Microsoft Project experience a plus.
