Job Description
    The Proposal Writer supports and facilitates the growth and expansion of services by managing the full spectrum of the proposal process. From the intake meetings, to writing and developing the proposals, managing content, overseeing the depositary library all the way through the post submission process. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, but also be able to translate data into action for a fast-paced firm experiencing rapid transformation. Possessing a curious mindset, this critical hire will develop recommendations that influence all parts of the organization including Commercial, Financial and the overall Customer Journey developing a close, collaborative relationship with the Sales team and Sales VPs. Working remotely, the individual will have the opportunity to work and engage with the organization, including the C-suite. Hybrid role.....amazing benefits.
Qualifications
    Key Areas of Responsibility: 1. Help grow revenue by scoring, managing, developing, and delivering persuasive proposal responses 2. Evaluate and analyse RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other requests from prospective clients based on ability of the company to perform the requested services and likelihood of successful outcome 3. Support the overall proposal development process from initial review, response development, and evaluation of prospective client responses 4. Manage, organize, and update RFx response library to ensure accuracy and alignment with OSG company messaging and product offerings 5. Work with subject matter experts to describe company offerings, innovative solutions to customer goals and challenges, and RFx requirements Qualifications: - Proficient at identifying key customer challenges and goals; thinking critically to craft response strategies; and developing key messaging to address these concerns.  - Logical and focused attention to detail to help ensure compliance with response requirements  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write persuasively to various audiences and proposal evaluators - Evidence of a successful track record in authoring winning proposals  - Expert fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Pro  Working Conditions: - This position is remote. - Does not require travel.
Experience & Knowledge
    -Bachelor’s degree in English, communication, technical writing, or related field  -2-4 years of proposal writing, proposal management, and proposal development experience -Strong writing and editing skills
