Job Description
    This position is for the MSP (Managed Service Provider) division. As a Senior Sales/Account Representative, you will drive new business by selling a portfolio of managed IT services—things like network management, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, disaster recovery, and ongoing IT support—to small and mid-size businesses. You will act as a trusted advisor, diagnose client needs, present tailored service packages, and close deals that help companies run safer, smoother IT environments. Prospect and build pipeline. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, research and understand prospects’ IT environments and pain points, and generate leads through cold outreach, networking, referrals, events, and digital channels. • Consultative selling. Meet with prospects to uncover challenges, demonstrate how MSP services address them, and craft custom proposals or presentations. Build relationships that position you as a strategic partner, not just a vendor. • Account management. Nurture new and existing clients, conduct regular business reviews, identify additional services or upgrades, and help maintain strong client retention. • Sales strategy and execution. Develop and execute plans to hit or exceed targets, collaborate with technical staff, and leadership on campaigns and positioning, and monitor market or competitor activity to refine your approach. • Negotiate and close. Manage contract discussions, pricing, and service agreements; ensure deals comply with company policies; and coordinate with implementation or onboarding teams for a smooth handoff. • Reporting and CRM management. Keep accurate records of activities, pipeline, and client interactions; produce forecasts and performance reports; and use insights to adjust tactics. What success looks like in the first 6–12 months • Build a qualified pipeline of leads and close a meaningful number of new contracts each quarter. • Establish relationships with key prospects and deliver at least 6 tailored proposals or presentations per month. • Maintain accurate CRM data, provide reliable forecasts, and collaborate with delivery or technical teams to ensure satisfied new clients. • Demonstrate understanding of the MSP value proposition and market differentiators; contribute ideas to improve messaging or process based on first-hand prospect feedback. Base salary + 10% commission
Qualifications
    Required qualifications • Proven sales success, ideally selling IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, or related solutions to businesses. • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Comfortable with consultative, solution-oriented selling and with learning technical details to effectively address client needs. • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. • Experience with CRM tools and standard office software.
Experience & Knowledge
    Preferred Experience • Background understanding of managed IT services and related technologies such as network management, cloud computing, or cybersecurity. • Existing local business network or relationships in target industries or regions. • Familiarity with the MSP landscape and ability to explain ROI, risk reduction, or compliance benefits that MSPs bring.
Education
    BS in IT Systems preferred but not required
