Job Description
    We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Client Manager to serve as the primary liaison between our clients and internal software development teams. This role is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, managing ongoing engagements, and driving long-term partnerships while supporting the successful delivery of software solutions. Office is located in Columbia,SC. This role is a hybrid/remote position. Offering a competitive salary plus profit sharing bonus and company paid insurance. Key Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, trusted relationships Understand client business goals, technical needs, and project requirements Collaborate with software development, product, and project management teams to ensure successful delivery Manage client expectations, timelines, budgets, and deliverables Facilitate regular client meetings, status updates, and performance reviews Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross-selling services Address client concerns proactively and resolve issues in a timely manner Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with client objectives Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for clients Maintain accurate records of client interactions and project documentation Key Competencies Client-focused mindset Relationship building and stakeholder management Strategic thinking and business acumen Organization and time management Conflict resolution and adaptability What Success Looks Like High client satisfaction and retention rates Successful delivery of projects on time and within scope Growth in client accounts and revenue expansion Strong collaboration across internal teams Work Environment Collaborative, fast-paced software development environment Opportunity to work with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers Hybrid or remote flexibility
Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 3–7 years of experience in client management, account management, or project management in a technology or software development environment Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies) Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience working with SaaS products or custom software development projects Technical aptitude to translate client needs into actionable requirements Experience in contract management and client onboarding
Experience & Knowledge
    3–7 years of experience in client management, account management, or project management in a technology or software development environment Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies)
Education
    BS preferred but not required
